Multiple labelling

Precise synchronised rotation - positioning

The tie-bar shafts are rotated and positioned synchronously by means of a precision toothed belt drive.

Simultaneous workpiece change and machining

While one set of loaded workpiece carriers is in the machining process, a second set can be loaded at the same time.

Several workpieces are processed simultaneously.

The processing device, e.g. laser cabin, does not have to be stopped, opened, closed and started for each individual workpiece.

Workpiece carrier with magnet and orientation pin

The interchangeable workpiece carriers are held in the hollow shafts by magnets and can therefore be removed and reinserted quickly and without tools.

The position is orientated using a pin.

The exchangeable carriers can be customised by MM Engineering.

Precision 3-jaw chuck

As an alternative clamping option, we offer the multiple rotary axes equipped with 3-jaw chucks.

You can choose between:

  • 10 magnetic holders, 5 front, 5 rear (standard)
  • 5 precision chucks at the front, 5 magnetic holders at the rear
  • 5 precision chucks at the rear, 5 magnetic holders at the front
  • 10 precision chucks, 5 front, 5 rear

Drive options

Stepper motor with integrated positioning control

The control unit is permanently integrated into the motor.

It has a programme memory, a power output stage and an integrated encoder.

The NEMA 23 (□57 mm) motor can be easily programmed on a PC using the free software supplied.

Motor flange

Integration of customised motors

As standard, our multiple rotary axis offers a motor flange for motors of size NEMA23 (□57 mm).

If you would like to use a motor with different dimensions, we will adapt the flange and coupling to your desired motor.

If you already have a single turning device, we recommend using this or an identical motor. This saves the software connection to the machine control.

We will be happy to help you with the mechanical connection of your motor.



Integrated reference switch included

An inductive proximity switch integrated in the housing supplies the signal when the reference point is reached during the reference run.

The cable for this is routed out of the housing above the motor flange. (see illustration on the left)
