Magic like a frog's tongue

With the new differential vacuum lifter DHS3060-S we present a vacuum lifter model with an extra large stroke of 60 mm, a piston rod secured against twisting and a lifting force of 7N. This means that even large differences in level and distance can be compensated when picking components.

The vacuum lifting cylinder DHS3060-S, which is operated exclusively by vacuum, requires only one vacuum connection. The piston with suction cup only extends when the vacuum is switched on. At lightning speed, similar to the tongue of a frog, it sensitively picks up workpieces from any distance within its range of action, immediately reverses and safely pulls the component back to the end position of the cylinder.

A plastic piston ring additionally ensures improved sliding properties, especially with transverse forces or horizontal applications.
Optionally, as with all our non-rotating lifting cups, the retracted end position of the piston can be detected with a simple magnetic field sensor. Thanks to the mandatory operating principle of a differential vacuum lifter, the piston is always in its retracted end position when the workpiece is gripped.
