Function

The Long Cross Table Base is derived of the short positioning table.
Cross table bases show a bigger, flatter slide, witch is prepared for mounting a positioning table directly on it.
A cross table KR and KL can be combined with a short positioning table.
A cross table L can be combined with a long positioning table or a vertical lift stage.

Advantages

low height

Due to the modified slide, an additional positioning tabe can be mounted directly, without further parts. The design is very compact.

Modular system

The KT2304 long cross table base can be easily combined with all size 04 adjustment units.

Assets of MM-Engineering linear manual actuators:

backlash free

Spindle nut and spindle bearing are preloaded. This allows the slide to be positioned from either direction without backlash.

Self-locking spindle

Metric threads are essentially self-locking. Due to the preload, the control knob offers some resistance when turning. This means that the carriage always holds its position securely.
