Speed Controlling

Speed controlling of the different types of belt conveyors

BLDC Motor and Controller

Speed control FB09

Standard

  • The motor of the FB09 belt conveyor is operated with the supplied control electronics Maxon DEC50.
  • The speed is controlled via an external 0 - 5 V signalor the potentiometer attached to the controller.
  • At the FB09, the EC amplifier is always located outside the belt conveyor.
Potentiometer attached to the belt conveyor

Speed conrol FB10

Standard

  • At the FB10, a connection (pink line) is reserved for an analog input 0 - 5 V for speed control.
  • The belt speed is adjustable from 1.25% to 100% of the nominal speed.

Option

  • A rotary potentiometer can be integrated in the bearing bracket on the drive side by us.

Speed control FB21 + FB13

Standard

  • Control via power supply possible on the customer side
  • Attention! Loss of torque when reducing the supply voltage.

Option

  • We offer the DR10 speed controller for conveyor belts with 24 V DC motors.
  • The input voltage is pulsed at high frequency. The torque is maintained even at low speeds.
  • The speed can be controlled either by a potentiometer (attached to the controller)
  • or by a 0 - 10 V analogue signal.

Speed control FB12

Standard

  • Conveyor belts of the FB12 series can be operated with a frequency converter.
  • Frequency converters are not available from us.
BLDC motor with integrated controller

Speed control FB14

Standard

  • With our 24V EC motor (brushless) the belt speed can be regulated down to approx. 5% with an integrated controller.
  • Internally via the potentiometer in the terminal box.
  • Externally using a 0V - 10V signal (selection via DIP switch in the terminal box).
