Sensor positioning - manual positioning of print mark readers

A printed plastic sheet is placed in an alignment station using a sheet feeder.

In order to orient the sheet precisely in the punching tool, it is aligned using print marks. Two independently moving grippers pull the sheet under 2 print mark readers until the position of the print mark is congruent with that of the reader. The two grippers each sit on a linear axis from MM Engineering operated by a stepper motor.

To correct the desired position of the sheet, the print mark sensors are adjusted using a manually operated positioning table.

Conveyor belts with removable dividers

Bank cards are punched out in rows of three in a fully automatic punching machine. A conveyor belt of the FB13 series with separators is used to bring the finished cards out of the machine.

The conveyor system is equipped with 3 parallel conveyor belts, the dividers are located between the belts.

This prevents an unintentional slipping of a plastic card under the webs.
