Edge Roller
Belt deflection with a small extra roller
In many applications, the edge roller helps to transport the component to be transported gently onto the subsequent conveyor line.
Particularly small components can be handed over without any problems, since the gap at the transition point is very small.The edge roller has a diameter of 15mm on the deflection side.
The edge roller is only available up to a belt width of 200 mm.
Function
For Series FB10, 11, 12, 13, 14:
- An edge roller consists of two rollers.
- The large roller is adjustable to adjust the track.
- The small roller consists of rows of grooved ball bearings with an outer diameter of 15 mm.
Advantages
Advantages over a standard roll:
- Very small intermediate gap at the transfer point
- Small components can be handed over without any problems.
- Gentle transfer to the next conveyor line.
Advantages of an edge roller over a fixed knife edge:
- Lower engine power, thus less energy consumption.
- Longer service life due to reduced friction.
